Alternate is the biggest German hardware-deliverer, located in Linden (Hessen). The company sells its products through the internet. In Linden there is also a brick and mortar store.

In Germany the goods are sent from Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia. Alternate is also present in the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Spain.

The company also owns wave-computer.de for resale and the discount store mix-computer.de.
