The Alpine Type-R is one of Alpine's top performing subwoofer's. Some feel that the Alpine Type-R line of subs get the loudest for the cheapest price. The retail price is $225.00 but it can be found for much less on internet sites.

The Type-R is a dvc (dual voice coil) subwoofer.

It comes in sizes of 10", 12", and 15".

The Alpine Type-R comes in 2 different types. One is a dual 2 ohm and the other is a dual 4 ohm.
