Alphonso of Brienne

Alphonso of Brienne (c. 1225, Acre – August 25, 1270, Tunis) was the son of John of Brienne and Berengaria of Castile.
By his marriage (bef. 1250) to Marie d'Issoudon (c. 1223–1260), he became Count of Eu. He was also Grand Chamberlain of France, and died on the Seventh Crusade.
He was succeeded by his son John I of Brienne, Count of Eu (d. 1294); his daughter, Blanche (d. c. 1328) became Abbess of Maubuisson.
