Alphen (51°49′N 5°28′E) (also known as Alphen aan de Maas) is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and lies about 7 km north of Oss.

In 2001, the town of Alphen had 892 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.28 km², and contained 353 residences.[1] The statistical area "Alphen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1760.[2]
