Alpha Vulpeculae (α Vul / α Vulpeculae) is the brightest star in the constellation Vulpecula. It also has traditional names Lucida, Lukida Anseris or Anser.

Alpha Vulpeculae is a red giant of spectral class M0 and has apparent magnitude +4.4. It is approximately 297 light years from Earth. It forms a wide optical binary with 8 Vulpeculae.
