Alonzo A. Hinckley

Alonzo Arza Hinckley (1870–1936) was a high-ranking official of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was born April 23, 1870 in Cove Fort, Utah. He is the uncle of Gordon B. Hinckley, the 15th and current president of the church. He married his wife Rose May Robison in 1892 in the Manti Utah Temple.
He was ordained an apostle on October 11, 1934 after the death of Anthony W. Ivins.
He died on December 22, 1936, and was succeeded by Albert E. Bowen.
