[edit] Lame List

The lame list featured a group of guys shouting "LAME" to random news events read by an unseen host. I seem to remember this group of guys being a major local band. Nirvana? Pearl Jam? Anyone remember this? --Measure 21:21, September 9, 2005 (UTC)

Looking at pictures of the bands, it appears that it was Soundgarden. Can anyone confirm this? I'd like to put it in the article. --Measure 21:24, September 9, 2005 (UTC)

  • The "Lame List" was awesome. At least some of the guys were from Soundgarden--I know Kim Thayiil was one of them, at least. -- 67.136.5.140 20:26, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
    • Also Pearl Jam at times (and maybe Alice in Chains, but I can't verify). Very early (late 80s) versions of the Lame List featured some other, I assume, prominent Seattle musicians of the time that I don't recognize. -- ColdCaffeine 21:42, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
  • They used whoever wanted to show up from the local community, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, SoundGarden, Alice in Chains, lots of lesser known bands. SchmuckyTheCat 17:54, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quiz

The latest edit specifies that the word quiz had two items. Seems to me it was usually three or four, so that more than one could be in each category (Rapper or Fruit Drink?). —Tamfang 18:46, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
