Category:Alleged al Qaida safe house

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

American intelligence analysts compiled allegations to justify the continued extrajudicial detention of men the USA had captured in its "war on terror" and was holding in its Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba.

The detention of many of the captive men has been justified because they stayed in what they labelled an "al Qaida safe house", or some other house they found suspicious. In some of the allegations the Guantanamo intelligence analysts specified the location of the suspicious house where they believed the captive had stayed. Other captive men's continued detention was justified because their name, or "known alias" had been found on a list captured in some kind of "al Qaida safe house", or other suspicious house.

The actual location of these suspicious houses is notable for many reasons.
