Aljir Prison

Aljir Prison is a fictional prison on the Syphon Filter series located in Siberia. It is where political dissidents are kept, all of which are females. It is a woman's gulag. Lian Xing was kept here before working for the Chinese intelligence. This prison is playable in Syphon Filter 2 where wardens are guarding the prison. The levels are "Aljir Prison Break-In" and "Aljir Prison Escape". The female prisoners' hair were completely cut. Uri Gregorov was about to be executed at midnight, but Mara Aramov probably rescheduled the execution and Gregorov is to be executed earlier (perhaps at 11:30 PM at 9/12, according to the Syphon Filter 2 level briefing). In the second level, a violent prison riot occurred, many prisoners are killed. Also, in the second level, Lian Xing managed to rescue Gregorov and both fight their way out of the prison. They both jumped out of the prison wall into the nearby frozen-surface river and swam towards the rendezvous point where Gabriel Logan and Mujari were waiting.
