Alison Starling
Live from the Nation's Capital, Alison co-anchors WJLA-TV's Good morning Washington and ABC 7 NEWS at NOON. Alison is from a military family and spent part of her childhood in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area while her father worked for the office of the U.S. Trade Represntative. Alison has been co-anchor of Good morning Washington and ABC 7 NEWS at NOON since January 2004. Alison joined WJLA-TV a division of Allbritton Communications Company in August 2003. Being a native Floridian Alison attended the University of Florida, and later received a Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship from Rotary International. Alison is truly a "rising star", according to Washingtonian Magazine.
Ms. Starling is rumored to be a leading candidate to replace Kathleen Matthews on WJLA's 5 PM newscast but no decision has been announced.
