Alison Norrington

Alison Norrington was born in Essex, UK, to a Wexford family.

She grew up in Brentwood, Essex but lives between Wexford, Ireland and Essex - and has done this for the last 15 years.

She has written Class Act (Poolbeg, 2003) which was an Irish #4 bestseller, Look Before You Leap (Poolbeg, 2004) and Three of a Kind (Poolbeg, 2005) which hit number 11 in the Irish bestseller charts.

She showcased her first play A Fish & A Bonsai at The Queen's Theatre in May 2004. She now lives in both Wexford and Essex.

Alison has written numerous articles for Irish media, The Irish Star, Irish Tatler, Evening Herald and is a regular contributor to Woman's Way and has appeared on Irish national television to discuss her books, 'Ireland am' on channel TV3, and 'Open House' on RTE.

Alison has written in UK for Times Educational Supplement and Real magazine.

She is currently working on her 4th novel, and is a student on the MA in Creative Writing and New Media at De Monfort University in Leicester, UK.
