Alison 'Lady' Wheeler

Alison Wheeler is a British singer, best known as the female vocalist since 2003 for The Beautiful South. She was dubbed Alison 'Lady' Wheeler jokingly by her band mates in The Beautiful South who felt that her demeanor and education at Cambridge University was in contrast to the band's trademark working class northern image. She is the mother of lead singer of the Northern Irish rock band Ash; Tim Wheeler.
