Opposite Christ Church, Oxford is Alice's Shop on St Aldate's, formerly frequented in Victorian times by Alice Liddell, who inspired Alice in Wonderland.

The shop was featured as the Old Sheep Shop in Lewis Carroll's book Through the Looking-Glass. It is now a gift shop for tourists.
