Welcome!

Hello, Algumacoisaqq, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Startled to see that you haven't been welcomed here yet! Well, you are now. Anyway, I'm not sure if "AfroBrazilian" is the right term here or not; it's only the one my source used (see "External links"). If you know of a better one that's used in sources about Olympio, please include it--actually, if you can add any other sources about Olympio at all it would be very helpful! I sort of fell down on WP:CITE on this one. Thanks for your interest... --Dvyost 22:06, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Encyclonews

I've answered at the Village Pump. Sorry for the delay, but sometimes discussions on the VP go stale, and as the page grows, they get a little tricky to keep track of. Thanks for the message. Discussions on forums such as the Village Pump are a very positive thing. It's an exchange of opinions that can help smooth our work on the actual article namespace. Lack of communication is what usually leads to revert wars and animosity in articles. I, for one, am always glad to have conversations over at the VP. Regards, Redux 11:54, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Blocked guy

I don't know; I haven't actually checked the site out (nor do I intend to.) However, look at the discussion at WP:ANI#The_Final_Solution_linking_to_a_virus-inserting_site where they discuss this matter; apparently, a virus is downloaded when you open the site. Again, I can't confirm this, as I haven't opened the link, but it's apparent that it's some form of harmful website. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 02:34, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

You wrote: «it's not vanity page, it's not a garage band», but you also automatically replied: that you're «always trying to keep every crap that show up». Having said that, there's not much more to say, actually :). ciphergoth was the first guy to vote. Nuno Tavares 02:02, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

You wrote: «people vote based on their opinion on the subject, and not the enciclopedic value».

You're wrong, but almost got it (again): My opinion is that the article just lacks enciclopedic value. Let's wait for the Guiness Book to pronounce and, if it acknoledges the record, i'll change my vote. Nuno Tavares 03:18, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion?

You said: "I have lost count (well, actually it was two times) on how many times I looked on wikipdia for some article, only to find out that the article existed, but was deleted."

Could I ask what they were? DS 13:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
