I thought this article very POV against Portillo. I dispute that FRG would be a right-wing party anywhere with it's rob the rich to give to the poor recipes. Guatemala's right and left wing parties do not at all adhere to international perception of political leanings. While Portillo might have theoretically been a member of a conservative party has been removed because while it is true that Guatemala tends to have a distinct political character I don't believe the author has explained what that character is. I think the outside world would normally see FRG as a left wing party, but that doesn't fit in with the conception of RĂos Montt as having been a right winger. Such an explanation should probably be reserved for the FRG article.

The bit about the murder scandal; I don't think we can call it murder as he was acquited. I think if he is living in a luxurious apartment we can figure for ourselves he is comfortable; POV.

in that country doesn't actually specify which country, and I can't figure out which either , so have removed it. I am doing a fair amount of editing on related articles. --SqueakBox 18:13, Mar 15, 2005 (UTC)

Now I have organised it it looks more POV than ever. The only thing it says about his presidency is the accusation against him. --SqueakBox 23:07, Mar 15, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Efrain Rios Montt

I do not like him.
