Alfred Hertz

Alfred Hertz (born July 15, 1872 in Frankfurt, died April 17, 1942 in San Francisco), was a German-American conductor.
Hertz first came to prominence conducting Wagner at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. He later became music director of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.
