Alfred Douglas Adrian CB KC MC (1845 - 1922) was a legal adviser to the British Local Government Board.

He married Flora Lavinia Barton, daughter of Charles Howard Barton. They had three sons but no daughters. The eldest son, Harold, lived only for a few days, the middle son died aged 22 and the youngest was the Nobelist and President of the Royal Society Edgar Douglas Adrian, 1st Baron Adrian.

He was awarded the Military Cross, and Companionship of the Order of the Bath, and was King's Counsel.
