From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The municipality Alfdorf came into being in 1972 from the union of the earlier municipalities: the village Alfdorf, Pfahlbronn and Front-Steinenberg to the new municipality called village Alfdorf.
With the new arrangement of the administrative districts the municipality Alfdorf came to Rems-Murr-Kreis and therefore to the region of Stuttgart.
As a part of the nature reserve Swabian Fränkischer wood wide parts stand under scenery protection and nature protection.
The municipality Alfdorf connects traditional craft, modern industry, agriculture and natural scenery on the edge of the region of Stuttgart with traditionally good connections with the Ostalbkreis.
