Alfa Cable is a cable television company in Tirana, Albania.
It offers many popular international channels from western europe and the Balkan. Though the channels it offers change sometimes rapidly, some of the more consistent and mopre popular ones are:
Sky Cinema 1, Italia 1, Canale 5, Rette 4, Discovery Channel, Discovery Civilization, Discovery Science, Animal Planet, National Geographic, MTV, Vh1, MCM, RTL, DSF, Romantica, Pink, ESPN Classic, EuroSport, MEGA, ANT1, FOXlife, Fashion TV, Cartoon Network, EuroNews.
The company does not offer translation into Albanian.
The monthly rate is 700 Lek/month, about 7$ (a;though on their website they state 5 Euro/month).
In 2006 Alfa Cable has started to offer cable internet and VoIP telephony. The monthly rate is for internet is 19 Euro and for the telephony 6 Euro; however, you need to pay for the TV services too. An interesting fact is that all the internet subscribers have the same IP to the outside world.
