Alf Sjöberg

Alf Sjöberg (June 21, 1903April 16, 1980) was a Swedish film director. He won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival twice: in 1946 for Hets (part of an eleven-way tie) and in 1951 for his film adaptation of August Strindberg's play Fröken Julie (tied with Vittorio De Sica's Miracle in Milan).
