User talk:AlexR

Moved lots of stuff to archive:

This user is, thanks to the rentless slander and harassment of User:FemVoice and her stooges, on a temporary hiatus. I just can't be bothered to deal with this persecution of a few fanatics. Instead, I got myself another account and do what those people are obviously somewhat less willing to do, work on Wikipedia. Those hypocritical comments left by some users, reminding me to be civil, but not the others in this, will be removed as soon as I bother to look for them. Certainly they will not convince me to cower and admitt that FemVoices lies and slander (see [1]) are true, and that I am the worst person that ever walked the earth, and oh, not to forgett, that I emit such a negative energy and whatnot.

And an extra thanks for all the stooges who obviously derive pleasure from driving away (not very sucessfully, but nevertheless) an editor who has been here since 2000 and has a few thousand edits on his back. It seems as soon as one person with a personal dislike goes on a vendetta, she is sure to find willing helpers.

As for me, I will do what I have done for years, trying to make the Wikipedia even better. Which is not exactly what can be said for some other people. I'll be back as soon as they get bored - which probably won't be long. -- AlexR 07:18, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Amelia Peabody

Hey, thanks for working on the series! (I'm the one who created the succession box.) When you stub tag one of the Peabody books, would you please use {{mystery-novel-stub}}? Saves sorting later on...thanks again, and have fun. Cheers, Her Pegship 16:42, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for contact

Dear Alex,

I have a private question that I would like to e-mail you concerning some data collection as part of researching a novel. I'm new to Wikipedia and am not sure how to contact you. If you are willing to assist, please drop an e-mail to sk3tch3r@hotmail.com.

Thank you.

Sincerely, Al --ach 15:34, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
