Hi, your nomination Reaganomics for deletion was clearly a bad faith nomination especially as you vandalized the article at the same time. If you continue to do this you will likely be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please stop. Thanks, Gwernol 15:35, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

I did not vandalize the Reaganomics page. I was using Lupin's anti-vandal tool and it popped up. See here for why. Please do not scurilously accuse me of vandaliam. Alethiophile 15:39, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
This is your edit: [1] you replaced the article with vandalism text and nominated it for AfD. It looks like wht you did was see an earlier vandal's attack on the page and decided to send it to AfD. This is entirely the wrong process - you should have reverted the vandalism, not repeated it and used it as an excuse to nominate the article for AfD. Gwernol 15:42, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
I found the page the way it was. I did not know what was in the page before the vandalism and I had no way to revert it, so I nominated it for AfD. Perhaps I did the wrong thing in that, but that does not mean I vandalized it. Isn't Esperanza supposed to make life easier for people? Alethiophile 18:21, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply on my talk page. It does appear that you accidentally replaced the entire content of the article with vandalism while trying to nominate it for deletion. I noted this on the AfD discussion. However you still made a fairly significant error in nominating this article for deletion. It takes one click on the History tab of an article to check to see if its contents are vandalism or not. AfD is a serious process and you should be absolutely sure of what you are doing before nominating an article. The vandalism that you saw had taken place less than a minute before you started to nominate the article and was gone before you had typed in the nomination.
It is not true that you cannot rollback vandalism. Please see revert for detailed instructions on how to do this. There are also tools available to help you automate the process - see WP:RCP for more details. I'm sorry if all this comes off as harsh, but the reality is that you've had problems with mis-nominating articles to AfD before and it is an important process that should not be abused, even in error. Good luck, Gwernol 18:31, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove afd notifications from articles. If you wish to vote or comment, please visit the article's entry. Dbinder 18:28, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
