Great comedic role for Philippe Noiret where he plays a henpecked farmer. When his wife and in-laws are killed in an auto accident, He decides that it is time to enjoy life a little and he retires to his bed. This creates social upheaval in this working class small French town where hard work is a virtue. Sadly this movie has never been released to video.
