Alexander Popov (martial artist)

Alexander Popov (Born 1958) is a Martial Artist and President of the Spetsnaz Training Association.

Trained under Master Sang Ming Chong (who served in the GRU staff), he has over 30 years of experience in martial arts and 20 of those years was dedicated to Shaolin Hung Gar Kung Fu. He also has experience is various other Shaolin Kung Fu styles.[1]

Popov developed a version of a military hand-to-hand combat style for the Spetsnaz GRU, based on martial arts styles of Russia and South China.[2]
