Alexander Mar Thoma

His Grace The Late Rt. Rev. Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma, Thirumeni, was succeeded by Rt. Rev. Philpose Mar Crysostom as the administrative head of the Mar Thoma Church of Malabar. Rt. Rev. Alexander Mar Thoma was one of the longest serving priests of the church. He passed away in the year 2000 and was consencrated as Valia (Great) Metropolitian the first in the Mar Thoma Church.
