Alexander King (1899-1965), born Alexander Koenig, was an illustrator and author based in the United States. A frequent guest on the show hosted by Jack Paar, wherein he seemed to have an endless trove of amusing anecdotes and stories, he was also the author of several books, including May This House Be Safe from Tigers, Mine Enemy Grows Older (an account of his addiction to morphine, and his recovery), and I Should Have Kissed Her More.
