Alexander Herr (born October 4, 1978) is a German ski jumper who have competed since 1993 . He won a two medals at the 2001 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti with a gold in the team large hill and a bronze in the team normal hill events.

Herr finished 21st in the individual normal hill at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. He also finished 3rd in the team event at the 2006 Ski-flying World Championships.

Herr's best individual finish was 2nd in the large hill in Finland in 2004.

Herr quit the German team after not being choosen for the large hill event at the 2006 Winter Olympics. From 2006/07, Herr planed to compete for the Swedish World Cup-team, but he didn't receive the naturalization he had hoped for in Scandinavia. [1]
