Alexander Brandon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alexander Brandon (also known as Siren or Sandman in the demoscene and tracker community, b. 1974) is a musician, former member of Straylight Productions, who composed music mostly for games produced by Epic Games, or games based on Epic technology, including Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, Tyrian, and Jazz Jackrabbit 2.
He worked in several MOD music groups over his composing years in the late 90's, including the Kosmic Free Music Foundation. During that time he also composed for several musicdisks such as Return to Stage 9.
He also released several CD albums. They are titled:
- AtmosphereS: Cultures (with Dan Gardopée)
- AtmosphereS: Dreams (with George "The Fat Man" Sanger)
- AtmosphereS: Pulses (with Dan Gardopée)
- AtmosphereS: Rhythms (with George Sanger)
As the names suggest, the albums mostly contain ambient music pieces, which is one of Brandon's major composing styles.
Brandon currently works as Sound Director at Midway Games' branch office in California.
