Alexander Charles "Alex" Rudloff (Born February 17, 1981 in Melbourne, Florida) is an American internet entrepreneur, blogger, and web developer. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Rudloff was the lead developer of Netscape.com and a developer for Blogsmith, the blogging software used by Weblogs, Inc. He is also the CEO of postGorilla, Inc., the company behind Emurse.com.

Rudloff was the lead developer of the June 2006 rehaul Netscape.com, transforming it from a generic web portal to a social news aggregator, similar to Digg. Weblogs Inc. CEO Jason Calacanis was the general manager of the site until he left AOL in November 2006. The site is now maintained by C.K. Sample III.

Rudloff, along with his long time business partner Gavin Hall, was contracted by Brian Alvey and Jason Calacanis to rewrite the Weblogs, Inc. CMS to PHP in the fall of 2005. After the AOL purchase of Weblogs, Inc. and the ensuing transition period, Rudloff lead redevelopment efforts for Netscape.com. After completing the Netscape.com relaunch, he returned to the Blogsmith team. Blogsmith now powers internet giants such as TMZ.com, Weblogs, Inc., and AOL Sports Blogs, as well as controversial Dallas Mavericks team owner Mark Cuban's blog.

Emurse.com is an online resume and curriculum vitae service created by Rudloff and Gavin Hall at postGorilla, Inc.

While originally coded during the Summer of 2005, Emurse remained in private beta until Spring of 2006. Since it's public debut, Emurse has grown rapidly and received accolades from sources such as USA Today, Lifehacker, SolutionWatch.com, and CNet.
