Alex Quilici

Alex Quilici works for America Online as a Vice President of online services.

In 1998 he co-founded Pittsburgh-based voice-portal infrastructure company Quackware with Steven Woods and Jeromy Carriere. Quackware in 1999 became Quack.com and moved to Silicon Valley. In September 2000, Quack was acquired for $200 million by America Online and moved onto the Netscape campus with what was left of the Netscape team.

Before 1998, Quilici was a freelance technical consultant and faculty member at the University of Hawaii.
