Alex Paradise is a singer, song writer, writer, and bon viveur who was born on 30th September, 1976. Having played his hand, along with Joseph Jarlett and Errol Flynn, in creating the Superswing genre of music with their band The Fabrics [1] he went on to write the material for virtual pop group the Popinjays under the moniker Paradise Popinjay [2] and in doing so kick started the Nu Seedy movement.

Paradise has reputedly assumed the rank of Captain, moved to Bath and is now in the process of forming a new group, The Never Band.
