With Sergio Ciliberto and Riccardo Scorretti, he introduced a new numerical technique to study the effect of thermal fluctuations in heterogeneous systems. He is now with the University of French Polynesia in Tahiti. He was previously at the University of California, Santa Barbara and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon.
