Alessandro Pereira

Alessandro Pereira is a cousin of Jean Charles de Menezes who has demanded "justice" for the killing of his cousin by London Police.
Mr. Pereira said that the officers responsible for the death of his cousin should be held responsible for their actions, which he believes were unreasonable. The officer in charge at the time was Commander Cressida Dick. The Commissioner of Police of the Metrolopolis, Sir Ian Blair, had final responsibility, although he was not personally involved in the operation.
Mr. Pereira is now representing the Menezes family, and delivered a communique on 21 August 2005 to the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street, demanding a full public inquiry into the incident. [1]
