Alena Popchanka

Alena Popchanka (born July 28, 1979 in Gomel, Belarus) is a freestyle and butterfly swimmer.
Popchanka won the 200m Freestyle at the 2003 World Aquatics Championships and won the 200m Freestyle again at the 2006 World Aquatics Championships.
Since November 2005 she has competed for France, her husband's country, but currently lives and trains in Edinburgh, Scotland.
