Aleksandra Vrebalov

Aleksandra Vrebalov (b. September 22, 1970 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia) is a composer based in New York City. She studied composition with Miroslav Statkic at Novi Sad University, then with Zoran Erich at Belgrade University, Elinor Armer at the San Francisco Conservatory, and Ivana Loudova at the Prague Academy of Music.

Her best known recording is that of Paranoia Boundless by Kronos Quartet on their album Kronos Caravan, but has also received commissions from the Ad Libitum Ensemble, Merkin Concert Hall Zoom Series, and the Jancic Fund.
