Alejandro Salazar

Alejandro Salazar (born February 18, 1984 in Eugene, Oregon) is an American soccer forward.
Salazar played college soccer at the University of Portland from 2002 to 2004, where he was named WCC Freshman of the Year as a freshman, and was the Conference Player of the Year as a sophomore. He left Portland after his junior to join the newly-formed Australian A-league, having registered 25 goals and 11 assists as a Pilot. Salazar did not play a game in the A-League for Sydney FC and has since been released. He made his way back to Portland, USA but after failing to find a professional contract returned to university to finish off his business degree.
Salazar's father is renowned marathon runner Alberto Salazar.
