Alejandro Casañas Ramírez (born January 29, 1954) is a former hurdler from Cuba. At the World University Games in Sofia 1977 he was clocked in to a new world record of 13.21 seconds. This record would, however, only stand for two years. Also, he could never quite copy the world-leading performance at the Olympic Games, where he won silver medals in 1976 and 1980.
