48 bit CSA - it is a state of the thgings. Try to search for keywords CSA ECD 48bit checksum, etc. In reality all the real CSA keys are 48 bit. I can't find any "official" reference though.

Yes i have no problem finding references to the fact that the CSA keys are 48 bits, like on the infamous 4freeboard.to etc. However i cant actually find an explanation of this anywhere. am i missing something very obvious?
