Aldein (German) or Aldino (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 40 km northeast of Trento and about 15 km south of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,674 and an area of 63.2 km².[1]

The municipality of Aldein contains the frazione (subdivision) Redagno.

Aldein borders the following municipalities: Bronzolo, Carano, Daiano, Montan, Deutschnofen, Auer, Truden, and Varena.
