Alda Ribiero Acosta

Alda Ribiero Acosta, or Alda Ribeiro Acosta is a Uruguayan terrorist who was arrested in La Paz, Bolivia after hotel bombings that killed two people and wounded seven on Wednesday, March 22, 2006. She and her partner, Triston Jay Amero, alias Lestat Claudius de Orleans y Montevideo have been formally charged with murder and are being held in a prison in La Paz.

After the blasts, Bolivia's president Evo Morales declared: "There is a battle against terrorism and the government of the United States is sending Americans to do terrorism in Bolivia," he said in the eastern city of Santa Cruz. "A U.S. citizen placing bombs in hotels ... What is happening?" he asked.
