Alcibiades Hidalgo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alcibiades Hidalgo was Raúl Castro's Chief of Staff for twelve years. Later he served as Cuba's ambassador to the United Nations (UN). He defected to the United States in 2002 and claimed that "virtually every member of Castro's UN mission is an intelligence agent."
"Cuba is, pure and simple, a dictatorship each day more devoid of the attributes that once made it attractive."
Mr. Hidalgo graduated from Havana's University with a degree in journalism.
