Talk:Albert Nađ
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
has he Hungarian origins?
- I don't know. Why would anyone care what his Hungarian name is? Punkmorten 22:23, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- He is a Hungarian from Vojvodina, a part of Serbia that used to be a part of Austria-Hungary, before the WWI. There are still many Hungarians in this part of Serbia. BTW, in Hungarian, Nagy means "large", but Albert is only 174 cm tall, so, obviously, this is not a family rule...

- Well, he's obviously not from Vojvodina if he was born and spent his entire life and most of the professional career in Belgrade. On the other hand, he obviously has Hungarian roots. Nagy is a very common lastname amongst Hungarians.65.95.238.31 05:22, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

- Just to know it. Why would anyone care what is chinese name of Michael Chang and what is its traslitteration? It's an encyclopedia, am I wrong? however, it seems that he was born as a Nađ and not a Nagy later "slavizied" in Nađ, so his Hungarian name is useless. Maybe just mention that he's of Hungarian origins and the Hungarian counterpart "Nagy" is a very common surname...
