Albertus van Raalte

Albertus Christiaan van Raalte was an 19th century pastor in the Reformed Church in America, who led the Dutch immigrants who founded the city of Holland, Michigan and established the school that would become Hope College. He was involved in the 1857 Secession of Christian Reformed Church from Reformed Church in America
