Alberton is a community in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It is located near the U.S. border. It sits partway between Lake Superior and the Manitoba border. Other surrounding communities include Fort Frances and Isherwood. The population is 956 (2001 Census).

It is located in the Rainy River District.
