Alberto Dines

Alberto Dines, a Brazilian journalist, was born in Rio de Janeiro (February 19, 1932). He is one of the most respected journalists in Brazil and has been the publisher of important Brazilian newspapers like “Jornal do Brasil”. He is a recipient of the Maria Moors Cabot Prize (1970) and many other awards.
He now hosts the program "Observatório da Imprensa" ("Press Observer") on public TV channel (TVE) and is the maintainer of the renowned eponymous website.
