Alberto Terrero Castillo (born February 10, 1970 in San Juan De La Maguana, Dominican Republic) is a backup catcher in Major League Baseball. From 1995 through 2005, Castillo has played for the New York Mets (1995-98), St. Louis Cardinals (1999), Toronto Blue Jays (2000-01), San Francisco Giants (2003), Kansas City Royals (2004-2005), Oakland Athletics (2005), and currently plays for the Washington Nationals. He bats and throws right handed. He was the star catcher in the first Dominican team in the WBC.
In an eleven-season career, Castillo has posted a .222 batting average with 11 home runs and 98 RBI in 407 games played.
On March 30, 2006 Alberto was assigned to the Nationals minor league camp.
