Alberta provincial highway 33

Alberta provincial highway 33 (also called "Grizzly Trail") is a north-south highway located in west central Alberta, Canada.

It begins along Highway 2 east of the village of Kinuso and proceeds south through Swan Hills, Alberta and Barrhead to Gunn.

  • 74 km - passes through the town of Swan Hills.
  • 77 km - Highway 32 begins toward the town of Whitecourt while Highway 33 goes toward the southeast along the "Grizzly Trail."
  • 136 km - Highway 658 branches off to the west.
  • 146 km - Passes by the hamlet of Fort Assiniboine where Highway 661 branches off to the north
  • 148 km - Crosses the Athabasca River
  • 152 km - Highway 763 branches off to the south
  • 162 km - Passes by the hamlet of Camp Creek
  • 182 km - Meets Highway 18 and turns south
  • 190 km - Passes through the town of Barrhead
  • 195 km - Highway 654 branches off to the east
  • 200 km - Highway 654 branches off to the west
  • 205 km - Highway 651 branches off to the east
  • 210 km - Passes by the hamlet of Birch Cove
  • 223 km - Passes by the hamlet of Rich Valley
  • 236 km - Meets Highway 43 east of the hamlet of Gunn where it ends
