Alberta provincial highway 23

Alberta provincial highway 23 is a short highway which located in southern Alberta east of Highway 2.
It begins at High River along Highway 2 and proceeds 17 km east (skirting Frank Lake to the north) where Highway 799 branches off it (just south of the hamlet of Blackie).
It continues east another 9 km where Highway 804 branches off it (just north of the hamlet of Brant).
It keeps going east 17 km where it meets the junction of Highway 24 and Highway 542.
The highway turns south 20 km to the town of Vulcan where it crosses Highway 534.
It keeps south another 7 km through the hamlet of Kirkcaldy.
The road goes southeast another 13 km where it crosses Highway 529 and goes past the village of Champion.
It proceeds south another 13 km where it crosses the Little Bow River just before the village of Carmangay.
In another 13 km, Highway 520 branches off to the west and Highway 23 proceeds another 3 km to the village of Barons where Highway 520 branches off to the east.
The road goes south 14 km where it crosses Highway 519 just west of the village of Nobleford.
It continues 8 more km where it ends at Highway 3 just east of the hamlet of Monarch.
