Highway 16

Highway 16 is central and northern Alberta's primary east-west highway.

It is part of the Yellowhead branch of the Trans-Canada Highway system. It spans from the Alberta-Saskatchewan border to the Alberta-British Columbia border. Almost the entire span of the highway is a minimum of two lanes in both directions and is divided. Within Alberta, it passes through Lloydminster, Edmonton, Edson, Hinton and Jasper.

The length within the province of Alberta is 637km.
