Alberta provincial highway 100

Alberta Highway 100 refers to the Sherwood Park Freeway, in Edmonton, Alberta. At one point, it was part of Highway 14, but with the completion of the interchange at Highway 14 and Whitemud Drive, the designated route of Highway 14 was changed to follow Whitemud Drive to Calgary Trail, beyond which Whitemud Drive is designated Highway 2. The former Highway 14 along the east edge of the city was renamed Highway 216, and the Sherwood Park Freeway was designated Highway 100, although no signs indicating such are posted along the road. There are interchanges with Highway 216, 17 Steet/76 Aveune, 34 Street, and 50 Street. The freeway ends just before 75 Street, where it also splits and continues into Edmonton as Whyte Ave and Argyll Road. To the east, Highway 100 continues as Wye Road (Secondary Highway 630) through Sherwood Park and to the east, where it eventually meets up with Highway 14, near Tofield.
